The Jews of Sing Sing:
Gothan Gangsters and Gonuvim
by Ron Arons
June 2008 | $22.95 | Hardcover | ISBN: 978-1-56980-333-2
Sing Sing prison opened in 1828, and since then, more than 7,000 Jews have served time in the infamous correctional facility. The Jews of Sing Sing is the first book to fully expose the scope of Jewish criminality over the past 150 years. Besides famous gangsters like Lepke Buchalter, thousands of Jews committed all types of crimes—from incest to arson to selling air rights over Manhattan—and found themselves doing time in Sing Sing.
Arons worked for many years as a marketer at high-tech companies including Texas Instruments, Ashton-Tate, and Sybase before deciding to work full time on this book. He became interested in understanding his roots after he lost both his parents to cancer and came across an ancestor with a criminal background.
