Internships
Barricade Books offers internships year-round. The position affords the intern a unique experience at a small publisher. Interns are expected to handle a fair amount of general office work in addition to helping out with virtually every facet of the book publishing business. Barricade interns have gone on to positions at other publishers such as Workman, Simon & Schuster, and Random House. This is an excellent opportunity for college students and recent grads looking for publishing experience. Intern positions are available on a full- or part-time basis.
